Brasserie de Luxembourg Mousel-Diekirch
Luxembourg · Founded in 2000
Brasserie de Luxembourg Mousel-Diekirch is the result of a merger between two of Luxembourg's oldest brewing traditions. Brasserie Mousel, established in 1825, and Brasserie Diekirch, founded in 1871, came together in 2000 to form Brasserie de Luxembourg Mousel-Diekirch SA, headquartered in Diekirch. Today the brewery operates as part of the global AB InBev portfolio, carrying forward centuries of Luxembourgish brewing heritage under one roof. The brewery produces and distributes both local and international beer brands across Luxembourg and beyond. Among its signature offerings is Mousel, a longstanding Luxembourgish lager that has been brewed since the nineteenth century. The portfolio reflects a blend of homegrown brewing identity and the resources of one of the world's largest brewing companies, combining local character with broad distribution reach. Located at Rue de la Brasserie in Diekirch, the brewery remains a recognisable institution in Luxembourg's beer landscape. As a subsidiary of AB InBev, Brasserie de Luxembourg Mousel-Diekirch represents the consolidation of the country's brewing industry into a single major production site, preserving well-known local brands while benefiting from an international commercial network.
