Aslin Beer Company is a craft brewery founded in Virginia, United States, with roots in the DMV region — the greater Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. Co-founded by brewer Kai Leszkowicz, the brewery quickly built a reputation for its bold, experimental approach to brewing. The team has since expanded its footprint into Washington D.C. itself, converting a former gas station and valet parking lot in the Logan Circle neighborhood into a laid-back café and beer garden. Aslin is best known for its New England-style IPAs, a hazy and juicy interpretation of the IPA style that co-founder Leszkowicz has become closely associated with. The brewery leans into creativity with beers that carry names as distinctive as their flavor profiles — Volcano Sauce, Arctic Sauce, and Astro Zombie are just a few examples. Their taproom in Virginia features an impressive 24 taps, offering visitors a broad taste of the ever-rotating portfolio. Among their standout beers is the Double Orange Starfish, an imperial New England IPA clocking in at 8.3% ABV — an intensified take on their popular Orange Starfish. Aslin has also partnered with D.C. United, the city's Major League Soccer club, cementing their place in the local culture with a crushable craft beer called Power Moves brewed for match days across their DMV taprooms.
