Brewery

Zlatá kravá

Zlatá Kráva is a farmhouse brewery located in Nepomuk, in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. The site has deep historical roots, as the building dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when the Turks' Brewery originally occupied the grounds. In 1938, the location underwent significant changes, and the current Zlatá Kráva brewery has since revived the tradition of local craft brewing in this historic setting. Today, the brewery operates as an integrated destination, combining a brewery, bar, eatery, and beer-to-go service. Zlatá Kráva offers a diverse portfolio of unpasteurised craft beers, ranging from approachable lagers to characterful ales. Their regular lineup includes the 10° Polotučná, the 12° Plnotučná, a Farm APA, a Red Ox Red Ale, and the locally celebrated Sv. Jana Nepomuckého. The brewery also produces seasonal specials and innovative styles such as a Pink Pepper Cow APA and a Low Carb No Cow Pilsner, clocking in at just 23 kcal per 100 ml. Vegan-friendly and unfiltered, their beers reflect a commitment to honest, farm-to-glass brewing. With a presence on platforms like Untappd and BeerAdvocate, Zlatá Kráva has built a loyal following among craft beer enthusiasts. The brewery has also been featured at events such as the Prague Bar Show, underscoring its growing reputation within the Czech craft beer scene.
