Schwaben Bräu is a historic brewery rooted in Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg in southwest Germany. The brand is closely associated with Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu, formed through the merger of two Stuttgart brewing traditions. In 2004, the brewery was acquired by Interbrew (later Anheuser-Busch InBev), with Brauerei Beck & Co taking over Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu AG, cementing its place within one of the world's largest brewing groups while maintaining its regional Swabian identity. Schwaben Bräu's portfolio reflects the classic Swabian brewing heritage of Baden-Württemberg, with a focus on traditional German lager styles. Among its known offerings is the Das Keller Pils, described as representing the essence of Stuttgart, as well as seasonal releases such as a WeihnachtsBier — a pale lager of 5.5% ABV presented in a swingtop bottle. The brewery also produces a Zwickl Kellerbier, an unfiltered lager style popular in southern German brewing culture. As part of Dinkelacker-Schwaben Bräu GmbH & Co. KG, the brewery operates modern production facilities in Stuttgart and has been noted for its industrial scale, including automated palletising systems for container handling. Beer enthusiasts visiting Stuttgart can encounter Schwaben Bräu as part of the city's vibrant brewing scene, with tastings available through local culinary experiences.
