La Stecciaia is Italy's first certified organic agricultural brewery, born within the Podere del Pereto farm of Riva Isabella, near Rapolano Terme in Tuscany. What makes this brewery truly exceptional is its fully integrated approach: the grains, the hops, and the land are all cultivated on-site, with every step of production guided by a deep commitment to organic farming and sustainability. This farm-to-glass philosophy places La Stecciaia in a unique position within the Italian craft beer landscape. The brewery's portfolio draws heavily from Belgian brewing traditions, producing farmhouse ales and bottle-conditioned styles that reflect both the terroir of Tuscany and the complexity of classic European beer culture. Their beers are brewed with home-grown ingredients, lending each release a distinct agricultural character rooted in the soil of the farm itself. Among their notable beers are the Senatrice, a Farmhouse Ale in the Saison tradition, the Farzotta, a Farmhouse Ale of its own kind, the Gentilrossa, a Belgian Dubbel, and a Rye-based offering. These beers reflect the brewery's dedication to heritage grain varieties and honest, expressive brewing.
