Judas is a Belgian strong golden ale brand owned by Alken-Maes, the second-largest brewing company in Belgium. The beer was first brewed in 1986 by Brasserie Union in Jumet. Alken-Maes itself was formed in 1988 through the merger of Brouwerij Maes and the Brouwerij van Alken, and is headquartered in Alken, in the Belgian province of Limburg.
