Hasseröder Brauerei

Hasseröder Brauerei is a German brewery located in Wernigerode, in the Harz region of Germany. Its roots date back to 1872, when brewing first began at this site, making it one of the older established breweries in central Germany. The brewery was officially renamed Hasseröder Brauerei in 1920. Today it operates as Hasseröder Brauerei GmbH, with its address at Auerhahnring 1, 38855 Wernigerode, and is a fully owned subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the global brewing giant. Hasseröder is best known for its Pilsner, which has become its signature beer style and the focus of its portfolio. Among its offerings are a Premium Pils, a strong Premium export, and a Radler. The Premium Pils, with an ABV of 4.9%, is regarded as one of the most recognisable beers in the group. The brewery's roots in the Harz mountains lend a distinctive regional identity to its beers, and its Pils is available in formats such as the PerfectDraft 6-litre keg for home enjoyment. As part of AB InBev, Hasseröder operates at a large national scale within Germany's competitive beer market. The brand has been leveraged internationally, with AB InBev using Hasseröder's European-style beers to reach markets in Asia. Within Germany, it is recognised as a significant player in the national Pilsner segment.
