Cervecera Península
Spain
Cervecera Península is a Spanish craft brewery located in Alcobendas, near Madrid. The brewery has its roots in Venezuela, where it began as the 'Microcervecería Ávila' microbrewery — a venture that notably won gold in the Old Ale category at an international competition. The project eventually made its way to Spain, driven by the passion of a father and son team who wanted to share their love of brewing with a wider audience. Their mission is to democratise flavourful beer with character, making quality craft beer accessible to all. Cervecera Península draws strong inspiration from the beers of the American West Coast, blending those influences with the spirit and culture of the Iberian Peninsula. Their portfolio reflects a commitment to diverse and distinctive beer styles, with a focus on craft and quality. The brewery operates a taproom in Alcobendas where visitors can sample their range and experience the brewery firsthand. One of their notable beers is La Fiesta Spanish Pale Ale, which has been brewed exclusively for the UK market in collaboration with British importer Euroboozer. This partnership highlights the brewery's international reach and willingness to collaborate across borders, bringing a taste of Spanish craft brewing to new audiences.
