Brouwerij Het Verzet
Belgium · Founded in 2011
Brouwerij 't Verzet is a Belgian craft brewery founded in 2011 by Koen Van Lancker, Alex Lippens, and Joran Van Ginderachter, based in Anzegem, in the Flemish region of Belgium. The name — meaning 'The Resistance' — reflects the brewery's defiant attitude toward mainstream brewing, driven by a passionate team that is deeply in love with the craft of brewing and uncompromising in flavour. The brewery has built a reputation for a diverse and adventurous portfolio, spanning everything from hoppy blond ales to barrel-aged beers and mixed-fermentation sour styles. Their range includes well-known beers such as Oud Bruin, Moose Blues — a dark ale brewed with maple syrup — Super Noah, a blonde crafted exclusively with Belgian hops, and the flagship VERZET, a flavorful hoppy blond ale at 5.8% ABV bursting with notes of passion fruit and exotic fruit. The brewery is particularly celebrated for its experimental approach to barrel-aging and mixed fermentation. Brouwerij 't Verzet has earned recognition as one of Flanders' most creative and boundary-pushing craft breweries. They are proud ambassadors of the GOESTING movement, a collective of 22 culinary rebels from Flanders showcasing bold, passionate craftsmanship to the world.
