Brasserie d'Ebly
Belgium · Founded in 2012
Brasserie d'Ebly is a Belgian micro-brewery founded in 2012, built around its flagship Curtius beer. The brewery takes its name from Ebly, a locality in the Belgian province of Luxembourg, and was conceived as an artisanal brewing operation with a strong regional identity. From the outset, the brewery combined a passion for traditional Belgian brewing craftsmanship with an ambition to bring distinctive, character-driven beers to a wider audience. The brewery is best known for its La Corne du Bois des Pendus range, a portfolio of Belgian ales that spans styles including blonde, tripel, and quadrupel. Early batches were contract-brewed at partner breweries such as Brasserie des Géants (also known as Brasserie des Légendes) in Irchonwelz, a common practice among growing Belgian craft breweries. The beers are developed around recipes crafted by Gaëtan Patin, and the range reflects the richness and diversity of the Belgian ale tradition, with expressive malt profiles and complex fermentation character. Brasserie d'Ebly and its La Corne beers have gained recognition within the Belgian craft beer scene, appearing at international food and drink events such as SIAL 2018 in Paris, where Belgian artisan producers showcased their products. The La Corne quadrupel in particular has attracted attention from beer enthusiasts and reviewers across the Benelux region.
