Blanche de Namur

Blanche de Namur is a Belgian witbier with roots stretching back to the 14th century. According to legend, Blanche de Namur was the daughter of the Count of Namur, celebrated for her sweetness, beauty, and delicacy — qualities that inspired the name of this beer. The brew is produced by Brasserie du Bocq, a family-owned brewery founded in 1858 and located in Purnode, in the Belgian Ardennes. With over six generations of brewing history, Du Bocq has grown into one of Belgium's most established regional breweries. Blanche de Namur is a hazy, soft, and creamy witbier of the highest quality, crafted in the classic Belgian white beer tradition. Brasserie du Bocq has expanded the Blanche de Namur range over the years, offering variations including Blanche de Namur Rosée, Blanche de Namur Apple, and Blanche de Namur Hop 'n Spice — the latter bringing a bolder hop character to the lineup. Alongside Blanche de Namur, Du Bocq's broader portfolio includes well-known Belgian beers such as Gauloise, Deugniet, and Tête de Mort. Blanche de Namur has earned recognition at numerous international beer competitions. Notably, Du Bocq's Blanche de Namur was awarded Best Wheat Beer at the International Beer Challenge 2014. The beer is exported internationally and enjoyed by witbier enthusiasts worldwide.
