Bearded Iris Brewing is a craft brewery founded by longtime friends Kavon Togrye and Matt Miller, based in Nashville, Tennessee. The brewery is situated in a 60-year-old manufacturing warehouse in the city's East Germantown neighbourhood, giving it a characterful industrial setting that reflects the brewery's roots-driven, community-focused philosophy. Taking its name from the bearded iris flower — a symbol of boldness and elegance — the brewery set out to craft beers that meet drinkers wherever they are and deliver the experience they seek. Bearded Iris has built its reputation primarily around New England-style IPAs, with Homestyle standing as its flagship beer. Homestyle is a hazy New England IPA brewed exclusively with Mosaic hops, clocking in at 6% ABV, offering a distinctive, clean aromatic character that has become a defining expression of the brewery's style. Beyond Homestyle, the portfolio includes Double Homestyle, the imperial IPA Overtones — brewed with Citra and Amarillo hops at 8.2% ABV — as well as Tunnel Vision, WaveCraze, Pep Talk Lager, and Attention Please!, demonstrating a range that stretches from approachable lagers to bold, hop-forward ales. Bearded Iris has grown significantly and is recognised as one of Tennessee's top craft breweries. In 2025, Memphis-based Wiseacre Brewing Company acquired Bearded Iris, uniting two of Tennessee's largest craft breweries under one company, while Bearded Iris continues as an independent brand within Wiseacre's portfolio.
