Maximaal 80 is an ambitious tripel from Proeflokaal Zwarte Parochie, a small brewery in Almelo that launched in 2019 with bold ambitions. This Dutch tripel displays an orange-amber hue with a layered bouquet: bready malt aromas blend with gentle spice notes and floral character. The palate is malty and sweet with a full body, accented by coriander, licorice and mint spice notes. At 8.8% ABV, Maximaal 80 pairs well with rich fish dishes, spiced foods, meat and aged cheeses.
