Pretty Green is a collaboration between New Zealand's contract brewery Yeastie Boys and Scotland's Loch Lomond Brewery, blending two brewing traditions in a single pilsner-style beer. Rather than following convention, this beer leans toward hop-forward character more typical of a session IPA. The aroma balances malt and tropical fruit with resinous undertones. On the palate, citrus notes and assertive hop bitterness take the lead, though some find the body light and the finish lacking dryness. At 5.5% ABV, it delivers crisp carbonation and a lean mouthfeel, making it a refreshing, sessionable pilsner that prioritises hop expression over traditional malt sweetness.
