Brewed since 1050 at the world's oldest monastery brewery, Weltenburger Kloster Barock Dunkel is a Munich-style dark lager steeped in Bavarian tradition. This beer is believed to be the world's first dark beer ever produced. The full-bodied brew delivers rich malt aromas with gentle roasted notes and burnt caramel character. The palate balances malt sweetness with restrained hop bitterness, while the finish remains clean and dry with hints of distant stone fruits.
