Wasted Degrees Raspberry Stout is a fruit stout from Blair Atholl, Perthshire, brewed to mark the brewery's first export deal. Thick, rich and sweet, this is dessert beer territory. Aromatic raspberries sit at the fore, balanced by a grain bill of barley, oats and wheat. The nose reveals raspberry, roast, coffee and cocoa notes. On the palate, those raspberries return alongside malt bitterness, coffee and dark chocolate. Flaked malted oats lend a soft body, while hints of caramel provide a sweet finish.
