About
Birrificio Agricolo Baladin's Xyauyù Oro is an Italian barleywine recognized since 2004 for its distinctive character. This 14% strength barleywine develops into a velvet-smooth, complex drink with deep notes of caramel, dried fruit and honey. The flavour combines sweetness without cloying character with dark berries, raisins and a gently warming alcoholic finish. The nose reveals strong sherry and Madeira-like aromas with oak and dried fruit notes. On the palate, it presents a medium to full body with a subtly syrupy texture and a dry, tannic finish. This is a beer that rewards patient contemplation and develops further with age.
