Voortsche Dwaes is a full-bodied yet approachable blonde ale from Voortsche Bieren in Voorthuizen. This craft-brewed beer at 7% alcohol combines barley and wheat malt with coriander, delivering a characterful profile suitable for year-round enjoyment. The top fermentation imparts its own distinct identity. The brewery's heritage runs deep in the Veluwe region: the earliest recorded brewery was the inn De Moriaen, where beer has been served to travellers since 1453. Though brewing ceased around 1750, today's brewers have revived this tradition with pure, unfiltered beer full of character.
