Vocation Brewery's Galaxy Edition is part of their Single Hop Showcase series: three limited releases brewed to an identical recipe, each showcasing a different hop variety. This New England IPA at 7.2% ABV leads with tropical and stone fruit notes—citrus, peach and passionfruit dominate the aroma. On the palate, the beer is distinctly fruity with pronounced hop bitterness on the finish. Galaxy hop brings piney, herbal and resinous character alongside subtle sweetness. The mouthfeel is soft and hazy, typical of New England style, with restrained carbonation. The finish is dry and assertively bitter, with lingering hop character that defines the beer's identity.
