About
Brune was among the first beers brewed in 1997 at Teo Musso's small brewpub in Piozzo, marking a pivotal moment in Italian craft beer history. This Irish dry stout draws inspiration from its Celtic roots while expressing Baladin's distinctive character. The beer presents dark brown to nearly black, topped with a fine, creamy head. Roasted coffee and dark chocolate dominate the aroma, joined by dark fruit, raisin and toffee notes. On the palate, a balance emerges between assertive bitterness and the caramelised sweetness of barley malt, with hints of chocolate and warming alcohol despite its modest strength.
