Snipperdag is a New England IPA from Bird Brewery in Diemen, a Dutch brewery founded in 2016 by beer sommeliers Rik van den Berg and Ralph van Bemmel. This fruity, lightly bitter beer is brewed with substantial rye malt, delivering a full body and complex flavour profile. The nose reveals tropical hop character and fruity aromatic notes. On the palate, apricot, orange peel and caramel malt emerge, balanced by a spicy bitterness. The finish is dry with a lingering hop-driven bitterness that completes the experience.
