Martha Sexy Blond is a robust blonde ale from The Brew Society in Heule, Belgium, at 8% ABV. The beer draws its name and inspiration from Martha, a farmer from the village who brewed her own beers in the 1920s. It is crafted with carefully selected malted barley and five different Belgian hop varieties, undergoing secondary fermentation in the bottle. The aroma displays intense ester notes of apricot, pear and clove. On the palate, a full-bodied, fruity character emerges with sweet undertones and spicy Belgian yeast character. The finish is tangy and spicy, cleansing the palate with a lingering complexity. Serve at 8°C to best appreciate its subtle nuances and aromatic depth.
