Struise Witte was the first beer brewed by De Struise Brouwers in 2001, born in a barn on founder Urbain Coutteau's ostrich farm. This traditional wheat beer reflects the brewery's philosophy: creativity, quality and friendship. The beer presents itself refreshingly earthy, with grain and hop as anchors. Taste combines yeasty and bready notes with a soft tartness, resisting the perfumy citrus that defines many wheat beers. A modest hop bitterness provides structure without dominance.
