Tora Tora is an intense, challenging ale from De Struise Brouwers in Oostvleteren, reimagined from their Kill & Destroy base beer. Aged for two years in genever barrels from Deinze, it delivers a distinctive blend of botanical gin character and woody depth. At 18% ABV, this is a full-bodied, complex expression built for contemplation. The nose leads with floral, herbal gin notes and subtle bourbon undertones. On the palate, malty sweetness meets assertive bitterness, while the finish is warm and boozy with lingering oak influence from barrel maturation. A beer that rewards slow sipping and reveals layers with each taste.
