Openluchtmuseum Pilsener
About
The Openluchtmuseum Pilsener is a golden, unfiltered beer that revives traditional brewing heritage from 1750. Originally from Ulvenhout, the brewery has been housed in the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem since 1943, where it continues to brew according to historical methods. Made with barley malt and bottom-fermented yeast, finished with bittering hops, this unfiltered pilsner carries authentic character. At 5% ABV, it reflects the low-alcohol tradition of small village breweries that dotted Brabant and Limburg in the 18th and 19th centuries, when nearly every hamlet had its own brewery.
