ROTT. Wine is a robust barleywine from ROTT. Brouwers, a Rotterdam-based craft brewery founded in 2014 when homebrewer Olivier and his partner Lisette turned passion into production. The brewery's ethos is to craft modern, bold beers that celebrate life's moments. At 10.7% ABV, this is a full-bodied barleywine with aromas of tonka bean, vanilla, caramel and toffee. On the palate, notes of milk chocolate and coffee emerge, cushioned by a soft, creamy mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness provides restraint without overshadowing the complex malt character. Ideal for winter sipping, best enjoyed slowly and shared.
