Põhjala Öö is an Imperial Baltic Porter brewed in Tallinn, Estonia, its name inspired by the long, dark winter nights of the Baltic region. This robust beer marries traditional Baltic Porter strength with Põhjala's distinctive approach: dark roasted malts, chocolate and demerara sugar build a complex profile of black treacle, dark fruit and subtle tobacco notes. The nose leads with burnt sugar, plum and raisin. On the palate, a full, viscous body delivers toffee, chocolate and dried fruit, finishing dry with a light smoky edge. This is a beer built for depth and warmth—crafted to sustain through the cold.
