About
Vècc from Podere La Berta is a farmhouse saison brewed in Tuscany through a collaboration bridging two Italian regions. This is no ordinary saison: it blends raw oat, wheat and spelt with smoked malt, fermented with two distinct yeast strains to build complexity and drinkability. In the glass, Vècc shows medium body and vivid carbonation. The aroma is earthy and floral, with woody and cellar notes suggesting maturation. The palate balances moderate bitterness against mild sweetness and a subtle sourness that feels more wine-like than typical beer. The finish turns spicy and citric, with a clean, dry edge.
