Paljas IPA is a Belgian beer born in 2013 and crowned Belgium's Best IPA at the World Beer Awards in 2015. Brewed with 100% pale malts and four carefully selected hop varieties, it delivers a fresh, floral aroma with citrus and herbal notes. The flavour is remarkably nuanced—more Pale Ale than classic IPA. A malty foundation supports moderate bitterness (25–35 IBU), which gives way to subtle floral and earthy spice in the mid-palate. The finish is very dry and clean, with a light acidity reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc. At 6% alcohol and best served at 6–9°C, this is a balanced beer that appeals to both hop enthusiasts and malt-focused drinkers.
