OverWorks is BrewDog's wild fermentation facility in Scotland, dedicated to spontaneously fermented sours. Cosmic Crush Raspberry is a fruited sour ale fermented with wild yeast strains and the house mixed culture, then aged in red wine barrels with raspberries. The nose is sharp and acidic, with raspberry dominating followed by grape and tart notes. On the palate, tart raspberry leads with light acidity, grain, and a subtle straw-like quality. The finish is dry and clean, with a slightly woody edge. Medium-bodied with fine carbonation, this is a refined, dry sour that keeps wild fermentation and fruit in careful balance.
