Sakura is an India Pale Lager from Spanish craft brewery Nómada Brewing Company, based in Sabadell. This refreshing beer marries the bite of a hoppy lager with subtle Japanese character. Brewed with Magnum, Sorachi and Simcoe hops, it's finished with cherry blossom, yuzu and shichimi togarashi – a traditional Japanese spice blend. The beer pours hazy golden with a thick white head. The nose reveals floral notes, lychee, pineapple and piney hop aromas. On the palate, it's gently bitter with fruity undertones, while the finish turns dry and refined with a subtle lingering bitterness.
