Nómada Moose Islay is an Imperial Stout from Catalan brewery Nómada Brewing Company, crafted with specialty malts, rye and moscovado sugar. The beer matured for six months in Islay whisky casks from Scotland, absorbing the distinctive peaty and smoky character of that region. The result is a complex, dark stout with deep smoky notes that blend seamlessly with the full body of an Imperial Stout. The influence of the Islay casks elevates this beer far beyond a standard stout, delivering an aroma and palate marked by peat smoke and warmth befitting its 12% ABV.
