Braveheart is an amber bitter from Moulin Brewery, one of Scotland's earliest microbreweries, based in the Highland village of Moulin near Pitlochry. The beer was created in the late 1990s as a lighter expression with reduced strength and colour. The brewery uses only natural ingredients, with no added sugars or extracts. This session bitter strikes a delicate balance between malt and fruit, with a distinctly Scottish sweetness. The aroma and palate are gentle, featuring sweet malt character that carries through to a clean finish. At 4% ABV, it is an approachable beer suited to everyday drinking.
