D'Wirtsdirn Weisse is a Hefeweizen from Löwenbrauerei Passau, a traditional Bavarian brewery established in 1874. Brewed with selected barley and wheat malt, Hallertau aroma hops and soft brewing water, this wheat beer's character comes from its special yeast strain, which imparts a mildly spicy flavour and typical fruity aroma. The beer appears clear golden with a fine white head. The nose shows malt and grainy notes, while the palate follows with malt, grain and subtle sweetness, touched by light vegetable undertones. A straightforward, classic Hefeweizen that honours Bavarian brewing traditions.
