Bloedbroeder Barrel Aged is the matured expression of Kompaan's most decorated beer. This Imperial Stout from The Hague earned 'Best Dutch Beer of 2017' and established Kompaan as a craft brewery of national standing. The barrel-aged release deepens the profile with pronounced smoky aromatics and chocolate in the nose. The beer layers roasted malts, chocolate and smoke with the vinous character imparted by port wine in the original recipe. At 9.1% ABV, it delivers a full-bodied, unfiltered and unpasteurised experience that demands focus and contemplation. This is serious brewing for serious drinkers.
