IQ BA The Belgian Owl is a Quadrupel from Inglorious Brew Stars, matured on beer barrels sourced from Belgian distillery The Belgian Owl. Released in February 2016 as a limited edition, this was the brewery's inaugural expression aged on these distinctive casks. The nose presents a rich profile of roasted malt, dark chocolate, cocoa and caramel, layered with oak and whiskey notes. On the palate, medium sweetness balances subtle bitterness, while woody and warming characters take centre stage. The finish lingers with complexity. At 11.4% ABV, this is a full-bodied, intense Quadrupel that showcases the craft of the Deurne-based brewery.
