Hofbrouwerij Reijngoud's Zuurbier is a refreshing Berliner Weisse brewed with passion fruit. The beer emerged from a single base recipe of 2000 litres that was developed into five distinct fruity variants – a craft experiment that proved successful. The character lives up to its name: pleasantly sour but still approachable and drinkable. Passion fruit adds fruitiness and brightness, supported by the light, wheat-beer foundation typical of the style. At 4.5% ABV, it's a light and accessible sour. Hofbrouwerij Reijngoud, located in Rotterdam, operates as a brewpub combining brewing and tasting room in the city's Hofbogen.
