Hesseler Goeie is the flagship beer from Hesseler Bier, a craft brewery in Oosterhesselen, Drenthe. Brewer Jurjen Waalkens spent years perfecting the recipe for this blonde ale before officially launching the brewery in 2020. The beer is brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot, using only natural ingredients. Goeie is known for its fruity character and versatility. A single 2000-litre batch of base beer yielded five distinct fruity variants, reflecting the beer's layered profile. At 6% ABV, it offers an approachable balance between malt and hop character, making it a welcoming introduction to craft brewing from the Dutch northeast.
