Gordon Finest Gold is a Belgian strong lager in Scottish style, brewed since 1992 by John Martin in collaboration with Timmermans. This golden blonde combines a silky, generous body with a pronounced bitterness that is rounded by its robust 10% ABV. Pale malts create a velvety mouthfeel with subtle notes of honey and sweet bread. The bitterness is well-defined yet balanced, with light hop character in the background. The finish remains surprisingly dry for its strength, delivering clean flavours without harsh edges. A well-crafted strong lager that carries its alcohol with restraint.
