Goose Island's Bourbon County Brand Stout 2019 is an imperial stout that defined an entire beer style over thirty years ago. Aged this year in Heaven Hill, Buffalo Trace and Wild Turkey barrels, it delivers an intense profile marked by dark fruit, cocoa and vanilla. At 14.7% ABV, the beer develops a full, creamy body that drinks smooth despite its considerable strength. The nose reveals cherry, cocoa and caramel with subtle bourbon undertones. On the palate, hazelnut and dark fruit aromas emerge, supported by well-balanced bitterness and oak character from extended barrel maturation. The finish is clean and dry, with a warming alcoholic fade.
