Robots & Windmills is an ambitious collaboration between Gigantic Brewing Company in Portland and Brouwerij de Molen. This Belgian quadrupel spent over two years maturing in Oregon Pinot Noir barrels, lending the beer a rich, luscious character with pronounced red wine influence. The aroma is full of floral and perfumed notes, layered with Belgian yeast esters and red wine character. On the palate, those same elements shine through: complex yeast esters, red wine depth, and notes of stone fruit and maple. The finish is warming and inviting, befitting the 10.6% alcohol content.
