Full Sail is an American IPA from Galway Bay Brewery, an independent brewer on Ireland's west coast founded in 2009. Brewed with a straightforward malt bill, this beer lets American hops—Columbus, El Dorado and Cascade—take centre stage. Multiple kettle additions and dry hopping deliver 45 IBU of clean, assertive character. Straw-coloured with a rough head, Full Sail presents citrus and fruity aromas. Grapefruit and lemon dominate the palate, balanced by a grassy hop presence that feels fresh rather than aggressive. The finish is sharp and lingering, with enough acidity and bitterness to cut through spicy dishes like Indian or Mexican cuisine.
