Tortoise is a New England IPA from Fuerst Wiacek, the Berlin brewery that brewed Germany's first commercially available Hazy IPA in 2016. This is a fresh and fruity beer with a rich golden hue and full hop character. The nose brings tropical fruit forward—mango, peach and pineapple—complemented by citrus zest. On the palate, the beer balances good bitterness with fruity notes without overwhelming the senses. The finish is clean and dry, with a pleasant lingering hop bitterness.
