About
Flensburger Pilsener is brewed in Flensburg, Schleswig-Holstein, in Germany's far north. The independent Flensburger Brauerei was founded in 1888 by five local citizens and remains controlled by the Petersen and Dethleffsen families. This North German pilsner is crafted using glacier spring water from Flensburg and traditional brewing methods. It pours bright golden with a white foam head. The aroma carries malt, grass, and citrus notes. On the palate, sweet malt and fresh bread flavours are balanced by clean hop bitterness, with a medium body and crisp carbonation throughout. At 4.8% ABV, this is an approachable pilsner that delivers both refreshment and flavour.
