Dutch Bargain Smash Bock is a Dutch bock beer brewed using the SMaSH method: a single malt and single hop approach. Released in 2019 as part of Dutch Bargain's Signatures lineup, this beer comes from the Zeeuws-Flanders brewery founded in 2011 by Marc Menue, Stijn Jordans and Thibo Baccarne. Crafted with Müncher malt and Aurora hop, fermented with WLP833 yeast, this bock draws on German tradition with Dutch character. Dutch bock beers have evolved from their Bavarian roots into a distinct national style. The result balances the roasted malt character typical of the style with restrained hop presence and a warming 6.9% ABV.
