Moinette Biologique is a complex organic blonde ale from Brasserie Dupont, brewed in Hainaut, Belgium's French-speaking region. The beer opens with fruity aromatics of yellow fruit, complemented by citrus notes of orange and spicy hints of clove. On the palate, it strikes a refined balance between the natural sweetness of organic malt and a pleasant bitterness. The beer drinks clean and crisp, with a warm, lingering finish. Dupont has brewed organic versions of its classic beers since 1990, and Moinette Bio was among the first certified organic beers marketed in Belgium. The brewery maintains its heritage as one of Europe's last farmhouse breweries, working with simple ingredients and time-honoured methods.
