Holzar-Bier is a dark export lager from Sonthofen, brewed by Der Hirschbräu – Privatbrauerei Höss, a brewery tracing its origins to 1657. This bottom-fermented beer showcases pleasant roasted malt character balanced with a rounded bitterness. The beer presents a full body with moderate carbonation. On the nose, malt and subtle honey notes emerge. The palate delivers caramel, toast and chocolate flavours, finishing dry with gentle bitterness.
