Boskeun is the Easter special from De Dolle Brouwers, brewed in the West Flanders village of Esen. This powerful blonde ale at 10% ABV takes its name from Jo, one of the two brothers who founded the brewery in 1980 and favoured blonde beers. Brewed with pale malt, Golding hops and organic cane sugar, then bottle-refermented with native honey. The result is a full-bodied, creamy beer marked by pronounced yeast character, white pepper and a complex fruit profile. Banana, vanilla and pineapple lead the aroma, joined by hints of spice. The finish lingers long and spicy, with warming alcohol appropriate to this strong seasonal.
