The nose shows malty, rye bread notes with hints of smoke and wood. On the palate, malt and coffee tones take centre stage, supported by the beer's sweet profile. The finish is long and lingering, with malty and bread notes persisting. De Brouwschuur brews in a former industrial building from 1912 in Weert that once housed an iron foundry. This craft brewery, established in 2016, produces a dubbel with natural affinity for fatty fish, spiced dishes and meat courses.
