Estrella Damm is the flagship lager of Damm S.A., Spain's oldest brewery, founded in 1876 in Barcelona by August Kuentzmann Damm and his wife Melanie, who emigrated from Alsace during the Franco-Prussian War. The brewery has brewed to the original 1876 recipe ever since. This European pale lager is made from barley malt, rice and hops only, with no additives. At 4.6% ABV, it is a refreshing, approachable lager designed for the Mediterranean climate. The profile is restrained, with subtle malt sweetness and light floral notes that lead to a clean, dry finish.
